At Yara Hotel, we are committed to providing a welcoming and comfortable experience for all guests. We offer a variety of accessibility features throughout our property and continuously work to improve access for guests with disabilities. Below is a detailed overview of accessible features we provide, as well as areas where accessibility is limited.

 

We offer two ADA-compliant guest rooms, each with different accessibility features to support a variety of needs.

 

Accessible Features Included

• Closest room to the designated ADA parking space.

• Step-free, accessible entrance and pathway from parking to the room.

• Wide doorways and clear circulation paths throughout.

• Low-profile platform bed for easier transfer.

• Roll-in shower with:

  • Grab bars

  • Built-in bench

  • Handheld shower wand

  • Accessible shower controls

• Roll-under sink and accessible vanity

• Toilet grab bars

• No steps or thresholds between sleeping and bathroom areas

• Lever-style handles and fixtures

• Accessible light switches and thermostat

• Visual fire alarm (if available—add confirmation if needed)

Not Included

• Braille or tactile room signage

• Hearing-impaired communication features (e.g., door knock light, TTY)

 

Accessible Features Included

• Ground-level suite with a step-free path from parking to entry.

• Wide doorways and unobstructed interior pathways.

• No threshold between sleeping and bathroom areas.

• Accessible twin-bed room with maneuverable space for mobility devices.

• Bathtub with grab bars and built-in bench for safe transfers.

• Handheld shower wand

• Emergency flashing light alarms for visual notification.

• Lever-style handles and fixtures

• High-contrast finishes for improved visual clarity.

Partial Accessibility / Not Included

• Primary bedroom (platform bed) does not maintain 42" of clearance on all sides.

• Sink/vanity is not roll-under accessible.

• No Braille or tactile signage.

 

Accessible Features We Provide

• One designated ADA parking space, located closest to the main entrance.

• Adjacent access aisle with a level surface and no curb.

• Direct pathway from the accessible parking spot to both accessible guest rooms.

Features We Are Unable to Provide

• The accessible parking space is not covered.

• We do not have a designated drop-off/loading zone.

 

Accessible Features We Provide

• A continuous, accessible path of travel from the ADA parking space to both accessible guest rooms.

• Exterior routes do not contain steps, abrupt level changes, or steep slopes that would obstruct mobility devices.

 

Accessible Features We Provide

• 36-inch or wider front gate and lobby door, allowing easy entry for mobility devices.

• Clear path of travel from the entrance to guest services.

• A slight ramp provides smooth access from the ADA parking space to the front gate.

 

Accessible Features We Provide

• No stairs or steps anywhere on the property.

• All public areas and guest room corridors provide step-free access.

 

Accessible Features We Provide

• A lobby/lounge restroom equipped with tactile, high-contrast signage for improved visibility.

 

Accessible Features We Provide

• Tactile signage is provided at the accessible lobby restroom.

Features We Are Unable to Provide

• Interior signage throughout the rest of the property does not include tactile or Braille lettering.

• Staff are always available to assist with wayfinding or orientation as needed.

 

Accessible Limitations

• Morning breakfast is served at the lobby lounge kitchen counter.

• The intimate layout and limited spacing between the counter and dining table may restrict maneuverability for some mobility devices.

• Our guest services team is happy to assist with plating or full table service upon request.
