Our boutique, 10-room retreat in the heart of Palm Springs, CA was designed for connection — a place where milestones feel timeless and celebrations unfold against a backdrop of whitewashed walls, bougainvillea, and desert skies. From micro weddings and intimate reunions to retreats and creative gatherings, Yara Hotel transforms into your private desert estate, an exclusive venue accommodating up to 26 guests overnight and hosting up to 75 for special events.

Between celebrations, your guests can linger by the saltwater pool, share cocktails beneath the palms, or explore the vibrant spirit of Palm Springs just beyond our gates. At Yara Hotel, every detail is designed to make your gathering feel effortless, soulful, and unforgettable.

Group + Event FAQs

Can we rent out the entire hotel?

Absolutely. A full buyout includes all 10 rooms and suites, accommodating up to 26 guests overnight.

What if our group is smaller than a buyout?

That works too. For non-buyout stays, groups are limited to a maximum of 3 rooms or 8 guests. Larger groups typically require a full buyout, though exceptions may be possible in special cases.

What is your capacity for special events?

Yara Hotel is best suited for intimate gatherings. We can host microweddings of up to 35 guests, seated dinners or mingling receptions for 50, and casual, lounge-style events such as pool parties or cocktail hours for up to 75.

Do you charge site fees?

Yes. Site fees are tailored to each event based on group size, type of gathering, and specific needs. We'll work with you to determine the right fit.

What time do events need to end?

Per Palm Springs city ordinance, all outdoor events must conclude by 10:00 PM. Music and amplified sound must remain under 50 decibels during the day, 45 decibels after 6:00 PM, and must end entirely by 10:00 PM. For those who want to keep the celebration going, we recommend silent disco rentals or arranging an after-party venue nearby.

Can we bring in our own catering and alcohol?

Outside alcohol is not permitted. Yara Hotel offers several curated open-bar packages to fit your event. Outside catering is approved on a case-by-case basis, and we're happy to recommend trusted local partners. Please note that our on-site kitchen and food storage space are very limited, so advance coordination is essential.

Can I host a small event without renting the entire hotel?

Because Yara Hotel is such an intimate property, most events require a full buyout of all 10 rooms. In certain circumstances, we may be able to make exceptions - please reach out with your details, and we'll be happy to explore what's possible.

Do you have a nightly minimum?

Yes. Our standard stay requirements are a 3-night minimum on weekends and a 2-night minimum on weekdays. Exceptions may be available during low season or for last-minute bookings.
